DATA LINK

The S3100-489 is a genuine Textron Aviation data link — a linkage member carrying motion through a control run. It is applicable to the Caravan or Grand Caravan EX, Citation CJ3, CJ3+, CJ3+ Gen 2, CJ3 Gen 3, Citation Latitude, Citation M2, M2 Gen 2, M2 Gen 3, Citation Mustang, Citation Sovereign or Sovereign+, Citation X+, Skyhawk, Skylane, and Stationair. It carries an export classification of ECCN 7A994. Supplied directly by Textron Aviation as an original-equipment (OEM) part, the S3100-489 meets the manufacturer's specification and keeps the aircraft configuration-correct, with clean traceability in the maintenance records. Across the Cessna Caravan, Citation, Skyhawk, Skylane, and Stationair fleet, correctly identified factory parts like this keep every airframe consistent and configuration-correct. Because it carries motion through a system, the exact part preserves the geometry the design depends on. OEM parts arrive to the specification the type design was certified against, preserving both airworthiness and the airframe's documented configuration. Because substitutions on type-certificated aircraft require approved data, the genuine part is the straightforward, compliant choice for this application. Built by Textron Aviation, whose Cessna line was founded in Wichita, Kansas in 1927 and joined Textron in 1992, this part carries one of general aviation's most storied names. The Cessna Caravan is a single-engine PT6-powered utility turboprop in continuous production since 1984, valued for its rugged versatility in passenger, cargo, and float operations.
