SPIRALWRAP

The S1399-1 is a genuine Textron Aviation spiralwrap supplied for use on the aircraft, with its precise function defined by the aircraft's parts data. It is fitted to the Caravan or Grand Caravan EX, Citation CJ3, CJ3+, CJ3+ Gen 2, CJ3 Gen 3, Citation Excel, XLS, XLS+, XLS Gen 2, Citation III, VI or VII, SkyCourier, and Skyhawk. It carries an export classification of ECCN EAR99. Because the S1399-1 is an original-equipment (OEM) part sourced directly from Textron Aviation, it matches the exact specification and placement called out in the aircraft's type design and maintenance data — assurance a generic substitute cannot offer. Across the Cessna Caravan, Citation, SkyCourier, and Skyhawk fleet, correctly identified factory parts like this keep every airframe consistent and configuration-correct. This is a cataloged factory part whose form, fit, and function are established by the manufacturer's approved data. An unapproved or surplus substitute can introduce fit, material, or paperwork problems that surface at the next inspection; the genuine part avoids that risk. Using the factory part number preserves configuration control, so the airframe stays consistent with its approved type design and the work is straightforward to sign off at inspection. The Cessna name is among the most recognized in aviation — founded in Wichita, Kansas in 1927 and part of Textron since 1992, today a cornerstone of Textron Aviation. The Cessna Caravan is a single-engine PT6-powered utility turboprop in continuous production since 1984, valued for its rugged versatility in passenger, cargo, and float operations.
